There is no Boston–Gloucester passenger ferry. None of the MBTA's ferry routes serves Cape Ann. The Gloucester–Provincetown ferry that Boston Harbor Cruises once ran has been discontinued. From Boston, take the train from North Station or the Salem Ferry.
